The DevOps engineer will be responsible for working with the platform team to design, build, and maintaining highly-available containerized services to meet critical business needs.

Responsibilities include:
- Design, build, and implement automated, containerized cloud platform solutions for data platform & tools team
- Design, build, and implement monitoring and scaling Work with team members to automated and integrate new functionality
- Collaborate with engineers across multiple teams
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, information technology, information systems, or a relevant technical field & 5 years software development experience; 3 years with Masters
- Proven ability with containers and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
- Experience with building, deploying, and managing containerized services & environments
- Experience dockerizing/containerizing applications & services
- Experience with cloud computing technologies (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with git and managing container image repositories
- Familiarity with Agile software development practices, Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc)
- Experience with continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) concepts, practices, and tools
- Self-starter with the ability to independently resolve issues and deliver results.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong linux/unix systems engineering & shell scripting experience
- Experience with building, deploying, and managing applications on PaaS
- Experience with Terraform and other configuration management system tools (Ansible, etc)
- Experience with distributed teams
- Experience with Python or other scripting/automation languages
- Operations and systems administration experience
