Job Description:

This role will be responsible for participating in the continual evolvement of our cloud solutions and infrastructure for both our consulting and product divisions. The individual should have solid understanding of cloud technology, automated deployment of infrastructure, configuration management, and cybersecurity.

Job responsibilities:

Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug automation solutions for deployment to development, test and production environments.

Implement and maintain the continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines in Azure and GCP, as part of the application lifecycle management employed by the development teams.

Manage cloud infrastructures via code (such as with tools like Terraform), designing reusable infrastructure components for scalable, highly-available, secure architectures for cloud-based applications.

Enable the continuous integration and continuous delivery of our diverse suite of software and products by applying best practices for infrastructure provisioning, configuration and automated software deployments.

Continually evaluate and apply best practices to facilitate continuous improvement that can be applied across teams.

Develop migration solutions to move infrastructure to other environments and/or tools such as between GCP and Azure.

Participate in cybersecurity assessments and evaluations for software applications and computerized systems.

Provide ongoing management, administration, monitoring, and support of deployed infrastructure to Azure cloud environment.

Develop project documentation, such as requirements, design documents, test plans, test cases, product specifications, white papers, training material, and installation guides.

Perform evaluation and qualification of 3rd party systems and applications.

Provide after-hours support when necessary, and be on call as needed.

Must haves in a candidate:

5 years of DevOps experience in Azure required.

Experience deploying containerized microservice applications (Kubernetes, ACI, Cloud Run or similar) required.

Experience with CI/CD, pipelines, GitHub actions or similar required.

Experience with GCP preferred.

Infrastructure as code (Terraform) experience preferred.
