Join an Innovation Deam within a globally known automotive company, working on their Design Team as a Level 3 Design Engineer, focusing in CATIA V5 and/ or V6.

Responsibilities:

• Mechanical design of Automotive Infotainment components that include audio amplifiers, speakers, antennas, cameras, displays, and other infotainment-related units.

• Create 3D layouts and 2D drawings in CATIA V5 or V6 with at least 3 years' experience.

• Conduct design feasibility and cost analysis, strength calculations, material selection, part construction, part packaging, scheduling, and coordinating activities involved in prototyping, fabricating, and manufacturing of assigned parts.

• Analyze components/parts in specialty to ensure that they are established layout/ quality/ cost/ performance standards and regulatory requirements are met or exceeded.

• Recommends cost-effective design modifications/improvements that support testing and mass production.

Required Skillset:

• Design Engineer with over 3 years of engineering experience in actual creation of required components per specialty (concept, specification setting and layout creation and negotiation capability).

• CATIA V5 or V6 experience.

• 6+ years of related experience may be substituted for required degree.

• BS Degree in ME/EE.
