Responsibilities
You will be responsible for improving and maintaining existing products through the entire lifecycle from detail drawings, calculations, fabrication and machining processes, quality control, assembly, testing, user documentation, operation, and incident investigations.
Design and Product Database Management
Modify, create, and check detail drawings. Analyze and design product changes. Issue change notices and revise product documentation in the database manager. Calculate operational limits, failure points, and update technical information. Complete validation testing on product changes or to confirm performance characteristics. Organize and document all duties
Manufacturing Support
Work with machining, and fabrication vendors to ensure parts meet Weatherford's quality and product requirements. Analyze, investigate and apply engineering calculations and knowledge to disposition non-conforming parts and equipment. Determine acceptable deviations from material, design, or specified processes. Identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective action to ensure a consistent, quality product. Analyze part manufacture for cost reduction. Assist and support the inspection and assembly departments.
Operational Support
Modify existing equipment to meet customer requirements. Select materials and processes to achieve cost and performance objectives. Provide technical assistance to operations personnel. Investigate customer concerns and incidents for root cause. Recommend or implement corrective actions.
Project Schedule
Plan work schedule Keep all interested parties informed of progress Maintain schedules and task updates Manage workload efficiently to keep assignments progressing and on schedule

- B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
- Ability to organize and document.
- Proficient using 3D cad modeling software, Creo or Pro/e preferred
