Summary:

Join an Innovation Deam within a globally known automotive company, working on their Design Team as a Design Engineer, focusing in CATIA V5.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct design feasibility and cost analysis, strength calculations, material selection, part construction, part specification, scheduling and coordinating activities involved in prototyping, fabricating, and manufacturing of assigned parts and systems.

• Design, develop components, parts, systems in area of specialty per established quality.

• Development of schedule guidelines.

• Implementing design ideas and features by preparing, checking, and issuing 2D and 3D drawings/layouts, calculations and analysis.

• Confirm prototype parts compliance with drawing specifications.

Required Skillset:

• Design Engineer with over 2 years of engineering experience in actual creation of required components per specialty (concept, specification setting and layout creation and negotiation capability).

• CATIA V5 experience.

• 6 years of related experience may be substituted for required degree.

• BS Degree in ME/EE.
