SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for updating and maintaining all engineering documents under the direction of the Engineering Manager with assistance and additional direction from the Project and Design Engineering group.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Part creation, maintenance and control of engineering drawings and documentation.
• Execute Engineering Change Notices.
• Execute sales request for drawings and specifications.
• Provide support for tooling and production drawings and specifications.
• Entering New Part numbers and Bills of Materials.
• Manage multiple tasks and initiatives concurrently.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following policies, procedures and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

GENERAL SKILLS:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Ability to read and effectively understand engineering drawings and models.
• Ability to understand and be capable of executing Engineering Changes.
• Ability to read and effectively communicate verbally and in writing using the English language.
• Ability to interface with others with effective results.
• Must be detail oriented.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Associates Engineering degree is a plus.
• Background in plastics manufacturing is required.
• Background in metal workshop is a plus.
• Possess basic mechanical skills and ability to use hand tools
• Experience or Knowledge of ISO- is a plus
• INFOR - Syteline ERP knowledge is a plus

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 2 years of experience in Solid Works Design software.
• Experience in Auto Cad Design software.
• Basic Engineering Office Protocol.
• Detail-oriented and thorough.
