Job Overview

Delivery Driver and Maintenance

Operates vehicles to transport equipment for the dealership. May instruct customers on basic equipment operating procedures. Sets up new equipment and performs general shop repair and maintenance.

Responsibilities:

Transports equipment to/from customers and/or between dealer facilities
Supports the sales department with equipment delivery as needed
May maintain records of pickup and deliveries and obtain necessary signatures and receipts if applicable
Maintains all required certifications in line with DOT, OSHA and company policy
May need to maintain assigned trucks and related equipment in good condition
May instruct customers on basic equipment operating procedures as required
Sets up new equipment
Assist service technicians in their duties
Performs general shop repair and maintenance
Load and unload customer and supplier deliveries
May maintain tool room or run the wash bay
Perform grounds maintenance for the dealer properties
May assist in moving displays or equipment within the dealership
May operate a forklift to transport parts, equipment and supplies for the dealership
Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to company safety program at all times
Perform other duties as assigned

Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge:

3+ years experience as a delivery driver
Ability to lift items weighing upwards to 75 lbs. repeatedly
High School diploma or equivalent experience
