Work with project teams to solve manufacturing/business problems using machine learning; construct graphical representations of data & data summaries to provide insight to stakeholders; use image analytics & text analytics to construct predictive models of process outcomes; create model interpretability & engineering tools using techniques including saliency mapping & interactive model profilers. Up to 10% domestic & international travel. Requires Bachelor s in Statistics, Analytics, Data Science, Computational Physics, Computational Chemistry, or related field w/ concentration or coursework in data analytics or machine learning. Requires experience w/ or academic exposure to: machine learning techniques, including gradient boosting & neural networks; using Python for machine learning or analytics; machine learning model interpretability (i.e. saliency mapping, model profiling); and transfer learning for neural networks.
