Job Summary:
The Cylinder Filler is responsible for safely handling and filling gas products into liquid, medical and high-pressure gas cylinders in compliance with federal, state, local regulations, and meeting Matheson's standard operating procedures. This position reports directly to the Production Manager or Operations Manager.
Requirements:
Education - High School Diploma or GED
Be able to lift up to 50lbs
Preferred three years knowledge/experience in gas, welding and safety supply industry or chemical industry preferred
Prefer one year experience in a warehouse as a worker or a driver
Prefer ability to safely operate a forklift
Prefer ability to read & comprehend material safety data sheets
Ability to perform mathematic exercises of moderate complexity
