Peraton is seeking a talented Customer Technical Support Representative 2 to join our team! The qualified individual will be responsible for monitoring servers, networks and mainframe operations and engage appropriate technical resources for incident resolution. Day-to-day duties will include monitoring batch job schedules for multiple environments while engaging appropriate technical resources for incident resolution and performing mainframe initial program load (IPL) as scheduled. Monitor mainframe system logs for exceptions and engage appropriate technical resources for incident resolution. Maintain operations logs capturing incidents and actions taken. Respond to customer and technical personnel phone calls. Follow established processes and procedures. Basic Qualifications: HS diploma/equivalent and 1-2 years experience U.S. Citizenship required; must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance Must be proficient with MS Word, Excel and Teams Have strong oral and written communication skills (Written and Oral) Preferred Qualifications: Customer service experience is a plus Have the ability to work any given 12 hour shift as needed Have flexibility to work 7AM-7PM or 7PM-7AM any day/night of the week.
