Job Overview

This Customer Support Specialist is responsible for delivering a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers in regards to depository services. This position will handle a variety of tasks to support the operations of the bank, including responding to customer service requests, providing product and service support, processing transactions such as ACH and wire requests, and monitoring and providing maintenance to customer accounts.

Coulee Bank is seeking an energetic and passionate candidate to fill a full-time Customer Support Specialist in our La Crosse/Losey Boulevard branch location.

As a Coulee Bank Customer Support Specialist, you are friendly, customer focused, and a compassionate team player. You enjoy interacting with both customers and coworkers. There is no challenge that you are not willing to try to solve. You have the knowledge and understand applicable banking regulation sand will assist with audits as requested.

A Day in the Life of a Customer Support Specialist

You are the first point of contact for customers (both external as well as internal employees of the bank) who are looking for assistance with their account or have a technical issue with online or mobile banking. You will also help them find the correct department if they call with a topic or concern that is outside of your scope of responsibilities.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and two to four years of experience in an administrative or customer support role, preferably in a financial institution. In addition, your written and oral communications skills are top notch and will help you assist customers to the highest level of excellence. You are a problem-solver who is not afraid to take initiative without being asked. This position is very computer focused so at least intermediate skills in Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office Suite programs required.
