  • What makes this role interesting- The FT4 team is a customer support team for Microsoft Store. Our mission is white glove experience exposure (especially during busy time). This team focuses largely on collaboration with the internal team and other Microsoft Teams, proactive and reactive customer interactions via phone/email for various store purchasing issues/refunds/returns/issues, fulfilling work, customer focused and ensuring customers are taken care of. Rewarding in that you are always saving the day!

The FT4 Advocate will be a part of Global Escalation Service's mission to deliver a Perfect Every Time support experience to our customers. This individual assists with complaints, orders, errors, account questions, billing, cancellations, and other queries. We are seeking those with a highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Performance indicators- Quality based on notes, customer satisfaction, phone calls.


Major Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between customers and Microsoft
  • Resolve customer queries and issues via phone, email, or mail
  • Thoroughly and efficiently gather customer information
  • Educate the customer where applicable to prevent the need for future contacts
  • Document interaction and resolution through content tracking
  • Maintain a balance between company policy and customer benefit in decision making
  • Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the customer's experience
  • Partner closely with support teams across GES
  • GES Emergency Response Plan Case work
  • Fully trained in assigned T3 Lifecycle
  • 2+ Customer Support Experience with great written and oral skills- ability to critically think on the spot and respond appropriately
  • Quick learner
  • Provides quick and accurate customer call resolution and/or routing to the appropriate team or Support Professional within the targeted support application via live phone and electronic case transfers. Uses Clarify, Internet, and other internal resources to collect information to verify eligibility for support.
  • Summarizes the key elements of the technical problem and determines if the issue falls within defined support boundaries.
  • Efficiently resolves and closes cases that fall within the support boundaries and ensure complete case documentation for all support issues. Meets defined response and quality goals and properly sets and manages customer expectations to ensure appropriate customer follow up and satisfaction.


Requirements

  • Strong communication skills - verbal and written
  • 2+ years of Customer Service experience
  • Demonstrated passion for excellence with respect to customer care
  • Strong decision making abilities
  • Detail oriented
  • Adaptable in a quickly changing environment
