Our client, a family-owned Manufacturing company in Buffalo Grove, seeks a talented Customer Service/Order Entry Representative to support their team due to growth. The Customer Service Representative interfaces with customers prior to and after sale. In addition, this person will be the liaison between numerous departments internally and will play an integral role in supporting the mission of the company. Responsibilities: Interface with customers, sales, marketing, manufacturing, and credit department with processing orders. Receive customer order via phone or website, edit, and enter data including proper documentation, appropriate conversion, product specifications, payment terms, delivery terms, etc. Track shipments, make labels, and manage the process from order to delivery. Create and maintain spreadsheets for customers, as needed. Process complaints, credits, and debits. Assist with billing and invoices. Mitigate customer issues and ensure timely delivery of products. Obtain scheduled manufacturing and shipping dates; maintain tracking to ensure on-time delivery.
