Overview The supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Customer Service department ensuring that all customer service activities are in line with company goals and objectives to help reduce transaction costs and ensure customer satisfaction as well as recommending and implementing policies and procedures for Customer Service. Responsibilities Essential Functions Responsible for daily supervision and proper staffing levels for all areas of Customer Service such as associates, pricing, allocations and data entry to ensure consistent flow of order process and resolution Ensures that all management policies and procedures are followed and that department specific processes and procedures are appropriately documented and complied with Analyzes individual quality, customer satisfaction and productivity measurements; addresses issues and finds pro-active solutions Resolves escalated issues including pricing, billing and shipping related problems Coordinates and collaborates with other departments to ensure optimal performance to meet customer requirements. Responsible for the performance management, training and development of current employees and selection and on-boarding of new employees Handles complex customer situations through telephone contact and possible personal visits Responsible for effective handling and streamlining of special projects such as: new product introduction, new acquisitions, ASAP orders and Standard Customer Service orders Organizes and facilitates departmental meetings to ensure effective communication and understanding of ongoing policies and procedures Qualifications Education & Experience Four-year college degree preferred Minimum 5 years' experience in a customer service environment Proven supervisory/lead experience required Skills & Abilities Strong relationship building and conflict resolution skills Must possess superior verbal, nonverbal and written communication skills Ability to communicate directly with customers in a professional manner Ability to use this information to determine staffing levels and schedules to support high levels of service within budget constraints Working for Leviton: Paid Holidays and PTO beginning your 1st day of work Medical, Dental, Vision and Rx coverage beginning the 1st day of the month following your start date. 401(k) program with company match.
