Job Overview

Position Overview: Provide a quality experience in every step of the customers journey, resulting in increased customer satisfaction and account retention for the company by handling a variety of incoming customers and member calls, managing digital platform, and promoting marketing campaigns. The Customer Service Specialist will support four divisions - Energy, Agronomy, Grain, Swine and Animal Nutrition. Will coordinate customer inquiries, payment processing, and handling modifications to account information while following company policies and procedures. This role will ensure customer inquiries and requests are handled completely and in timely manner. This full-time position offers benefits, competitive pay along with an unmatched company culture.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and assess customer and member needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Acts as a liaison between customers and management to enhance the overall customer experience
  • Prioritize, assign, and dispatch energy orders with internal team
  • Drive and manage digital customer platform, Co-Alliance Connect, with prompt response time
  • Familiarizing yourself with new marketing campaigns across divisions as they are introduced
  • Process member inquires related to patronage and equity
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure customer inquiry is fulfilled
  • Process credit card payments, orders, and requests accurately
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to use proprietary software
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work well with numerous interruptions
  • Exhibits self-motivation, the ability to multitask and pay close attention to small detail
  • Work well in a team environment and independently
  • Ability to answer a high volume of calls during peak seasons


Education and Experience:
  • 1-3 years of customer service experience preferred
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
