Job Overview
Flexible Staffing is hiring for Customer Service Representatives for one of the worlds largest logisitics companies.
The following are the skills needed to be successful in this role: Prioritize the daily workload and focus of accounts, including load entry, tracking, and tracking reports as required, complete error-free entry into Transportation Management System and ready loads, enter loads and confirm notes about the status of shipments, set pickup and delivery appointments with warehouses and customers, track the status of shipments from inception to delivery, and communicate with the customer on the status of the shipment, address issues that may arise on any shipment and communicate with customer, communicate all shipments, billing, or follow-up issues to Sales and Carrier Procurement Teams, complete general tasks as assigned by Operations and Sales Manager, seek help from an account representative as needed, other duties as required and assigned.
Requirements include: High School diploma or GED, be able to pass a background check and drug test, knowledge or schoolwork of logistics and the trucking industry preferred, understanding of industry terminology a plus, possess the analytical/math skills to construct and explain spreadsheet analyses, able to present information in one-on-one and small group situations, able to calculate figures and amounts with precision and accuracy, such as discounts, interest, commission, percentages, area, and volume, and able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
