Responsibilities:

Major Responsibilities:

Serve as primary liaison between the customer and facility personnel. Respond to customer RFQs, schedule, confirm and enter orders. Communicate order status to customer s and outside Sales Representatives. Receive and enter customer complaint information. Communicate customer needs to relevant internal departments and facilitate resolution to customer concerns.

Essential Functions:

Serve as primary liaison between the customer and facility personnel

Communicate order status to customers and outside Sales Representatives
Receive and enter customer complaint information
Communicate customer needs to relevant internal departments and facilitate resolution to customer concerns
Enter Orders
Type, submit and log all bids
Coordinate expedites
Coordinate change orders
Facilitate order status requests
Answer phone requests from customers
Compose Emails
Ask customer questions about application.
Ask for End-Use Questionnaire for export customers
Answer customers questions with assistance of engineering and/or management
Complete C of C's for all shipments
Complete clerical forms as requested
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements

Prior customer service experience in a related field
High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
Plus if able to accurately read and interpret blue prints
Must be computer literate in standard Microsoft Office products, email, and be comfortable with daily computer interaction
Must be fluent in English
Must have math skills equivalent to high school algebra
Must enjoy working in a team environment and interacting with various personality types

Additional Requirements:

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Plus if Syteline ERP experience
Must be able to work well with peers and superiors in all departments of the Company
Must be able to work well with external contacts of the Company
Must have good time management, planning and negotiation skills
Must adhere to all Company policies
Individual must be a:
Citizen of the United States, or
Permanent resident alien of the United States, or
Protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) as defined by 22CFR120.15

Physical Requirements:

Must be capable of sitting and using a computer for the majority of an 8-hour workday
Must be able to lift 35 pounds
With notice, must be able to occasionally work outside of standard working hours (8:00AM - 5:00PM)
