Bedard Pharmacy & Medical Supplies is hiring a Medical Equipment CSR in Auburn. This is a full-time position Monday thru Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and rotating Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. When scheduled to work a Saturday, time off will be given during the week.
Job Summary
The Customer Service Representative:
Learns the products and services offered by Bedard, the computer systems used, and the guidelines and regulations required by federal, state, and accrediting organizations.
Handles customer contact in person, over the telephone, or via the web. The initial customer contact may be with the client, a caregiver, a referral source, or a commercial account.
Receives, qualifies, and processes all customer medical supplies orders in a timely, efficient, accurate, and courteous manner.
Maintains and creates patient files.
Investigates and responds to customer inquiries regarding shipments, products, deliveries, and complaints.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
General office skills (computer, typing, fax, filing, and multiple phone lines)
Proficient in or ability to learn Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint), DocuTrack, and DocuSign
Strong communication skills (writing, speaking, and listening), and good command of written and oral English
Ability to work well in high-volume, fast-paced environment
Ability to adapt to changes in environment and/or workflow
Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and great attention to detail
Ability to make independent decisions
Ability to develop and maintain professional, service-oriented working relationships with customers, facility staff, and co-workers
Clerical or customer service experience preferred
Medicare/Medicaid and commercial insurance billing, bookkeeping, or medical office experience preferred
Physical Requirements
Sitting, standing, and/or walking for sustained periods of time, raising objects from a lower to a higher position and/or moving objects horizontally
Frequent/continuous reaching, grasping, lifting, and carrying up to 20 lbs. below waist level and at or above shoulder level
Repetitive walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching
