Job Purpose

Call center representatives assist callers who have questions regarding the services or products of a company. They use communication scripts during inbound and outbound calls to sell services or products to customers while using their knowledge of company policies and practices to answer questions.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service to improve customer satisfaction and relationship.
  • Stay up to date on policies and procedures.
  • Must maintain stellar customer service skills at all times in all areas of the role.
  • Answering phone calls with a proper greeting with a welcoming and helpful manner, answering patient questions (without providing medical advice), routing calls to the appropriate extensions.
  • Registers patients over the phone, obtaining accurate information for their medical record.
  • Schedules patients as needed for telemedicine appointments and for in-office visits.
  • Never leave the phone unattended.
  • Any additional duties assigned.
Requirements:
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Familiarity with company policies and healthcare regulations
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Knowledge of business office procedures
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to answer phones in a professional manner
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with providers, patients, and to the public
  • Utilize time management skills
  • Recognize, evaluate, solve problems, and correct errors
  • Maintain productivity and work independently
Working conditions:

This position may require evening, weekend, or holiday work. This position requires many hours in a sitting or standing position.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
