Customer Service Representative
Our growing enterprise contact center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida is currently seeking enthusiastic and skilled professionals to join our Agent & Client Services team. As a Universal Property & Casualty Agent & Client Services Representative, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and care to our agency force and clients regarding policy and claim information for new and existing business. Candidates will interact directly with our agents and/or clients primarily through inbound telephone calls and written correspondences to answer questions, solve problems and maintain the company's reputation for high-quality service.
The following are the usual, basic and essential functions of the position. These functions are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required.
What you'll do:
Take part in training on insurance concepts and procedures to effectively handle all inbound agent and client calls; averaging 60-90 calls per day
Responding efficiently and accurately to callers, explaining possible solutions, and ensuring that clients feel supported and valued
Process payments and answer questions about products, services and processing procedures
Build lasting relationships with clients and other call center team members based on trust and reliability
Note details of all calls and/or transactions on the policy or claim file
Respond to written correspondences in a timely and professional manner
Ability to accomplish daily goals and perform other duties as assigned
What we're looking for:
Exemplary attendance record and demonstrated job stability
Ability to ask prying questions and diffuse tense situations
Demonstrate a love and drive to learn new things
Strong time management and decision-making skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills, active listening, and a professional phone voice
Keen multitasking abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
Dedicated and separate high-speed Internet with at least 50 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds: DSL or Cable (no wireless or satellite ISPs allowed)
Florida Insurance Licensure: 20-44 or 220 is a plus
Fluency in multiple languages is a plus
