Job Overview:
The purpose of this position is to provide outstanding customer service. The CSR answers the phone, differentiates between routine and emergency cases, schedules appointments, greets clients, admits and checks outpatients, processes payments, manages financial information, and communicates information between clients and staff. They are the advocate for the client and must demonstrate the ability to be empathetic to clientele.
Job requirements:
Veterinary experience required
Minimum 1 year experience as veterinary receptionist, or 3 years in healthcare industry as receptionist preferred
Open availability including nights, weekends and holidays when necessary
Ability to be physically active (this is not a desk job)
Seeking to fill 4 shifts per week
Customer Service Representatives are also responsible for:
Maintaining patient records
Client callbacks
Providing estimates and explaining recommended services
Assisting the patient care team with animal handling as necessary
Maintaining a clean lobby and exam rooms at all times
Cash handling and financial documentation
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year experience as veterinary receptionist, or 3 years in another healthcare industry as a receptionist
Open availability including nights, weekends and holidays when necessary
Ability to be physically active (this is not a desk job)
Knowledge of triage in a veterinary setting is highly preferred
Hourly pay will range from $16-19.
