Job Overview
The Customer Service Representative will interact with customers by proactively addressing inquiries and resolving complaints. Our Customer Service Representatives are committed to Service, Efficiency and Safety.
This position will support our PitStop Propane and Fuels location in Bridgton, ME.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Interacts with customers via telephone, email, or in person to provide support and information on products or services
Collects and enters orders for new or additional products or services
Fields customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representatives knowledge, forwards to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff
Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers problems and concerns
Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments
Serves as a liaison between customers and company
Performs other related duties as assigned
Skills/Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances
Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software
Proficient in the current Microsoft Office suite to include Excel and Word
Ability to learn and use customer management software
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience preferred
Experience in the oil and propane industry highly preferred
Experience in high volume phone call environments
Physical, Mental, and Behavioral Requirements:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk, using a phone, and working on a computer
Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds
