Job Overview
Shift:
2nd shift: 11am-7:30pm
Position Summary:
This role will service the company's customers by scheduling and coordinating customer drop offs and pickups, researching and resolving complaints and errors, managing inventory, data entry, processing production results and orders, creating pick tickets and creating BOLs in our warehouse management system (WMS).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Interacts with customers via telephone and email to provide support, answer questions, and resolve complaints.
Creating Sales orders, work orders, pick tickets and Bill of Ladings in our WMS.
Review and verify production paperwork and other shipping and receiving documents.
Maintain customer's processing, shipping, and receiving records by organizing and filing and archiving appropriately.
Coordination and communication with dock employees regarding orders, inventories, and customer concerns.
Handle issues arising in shipping, receiving and customer inventories
Troubleshoot shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and work with key contributors to resolve them.
Accurately audit and maintain customers' inventory from start to finish: unfinished (WIP) product, finished products, and packaging materials.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Scheduling of inbound and outbound trucks dropping off and picking up product.
Required Job Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
Minimum two years customer service in warehousing or distribution OR shipping and receiving or dock clerk experience in manufacturing.
Excellent communication skills including active listening and critical thinking.
Excellent problem-solving and mathematical skills.
Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
Ability to work calmly and professionally under pressure.
Helpful / cooperative attitude and a team player.
Pleasant phone voice that projects responsiveness and sincerity.
High level of attention to detail and focus on accuracy.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
Intrinsic Customer Service experience (not specifically call center)
Proficient Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
Experience with NetSuite or similar WMS software.
General understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to work some weekends and work overtime as needed.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
Environment:
This job operates in an office environment located within a manufacturing facility.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
