We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Customer Service Manager to join our team.
Job description
Manage, train, and support the development of 4-person department. Communicate job expectations and do performance reviews.
Supervise order routing, entry, processing, and invoicing. Help resolve any price discrepancies or product details.
Field or forward customer inquiries or problems. Assist with return requests.
Handle EDI orders, and work with our VAN and IT consultant.
Interact with distributors and sales reps; sales, credit, manufacturing, and other departments; and freight carriers.
Run and distribute reports, and keep customer data up-to-date.
Advise other departments on customer, department, and your own feedback and ideas.
Desired skills and experience
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Customer Service Manager.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Flexibility to work in a small business and do a variety of tasks.
Experience in manufacturing or distribution a plus.
