Job Overview
Bella Visat Water District is currently recruiting for a full-time Customer Service Clerk to join our team.
The entry rate of pay is $23.64 per hour with scheduled step progressions in addition to an excellent benefits package which includes:
9/80 Workweek (every other Friday off)
Vacation, Sick, Floater, and Twelve (12) paid holidays, annually
Generous contribution toward Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance premiums for employee plus dependents
District paid Life insurance policy
CalPERS Pension and Retirement Plans
Voluntary 457 Deferred compensation plan
Summary of the position is as follows:
Performs customary administrative duties, including answering and transferring telephone calls, answers utility billing and other inquiries, while greeting customers in person and on the telephone.
Performs computer billing of customer water accounts, the collection and processing of receipts, preparation of deposits and banking.
Occasionally may be assigned to work on special projects or directed to perform other office duties.
Cross trains in Bookkeeper duties or in performance of other office related duties.
Finalists are subject to a background and reference check, drug and alcohol screening and written exam. A clean DMV report is required.
