JOB SUMMARY:
The Customer Care Representative's primary focus is providing excellent customer service for our customers. This includes acting as a liaison between customers and our service department, handling administrative tasks associated with sales, and providing a high quality customer service experience during the delivery and initial days after delivery. The Customer Care Representative takes on a number of other duties related to inventory and purchasing.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create and maintain sales orders.
Maintain customer database.
Act as a liaison between customers, Production, and Sales.
Assist with collecting payments, including communicating with financial institutions.
Provide warranty information to customers.
Complete all administrate tasks relevant to certifications and documentation (ex. NMMA, HIN/VIN, tags, etc).
Assist customers with personalization of boats, including vinyl wrapping, upholstery, and paint selections.
Maintain an open line of communication with customers during the build process, including sending photo and timeline updates.
Work with procurement to ensure timely acquisition of components.
Assist in inventory tracking and usage related to BOM's and warranty needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED required.
3 years of customer service experience, over-the-phone experience is a plus.
Ability to handle difficult situations with customers.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Outlook and Excel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
