Job Overview
HomeSource is a company that sells furniture, mattresses, appliances, and large home electronics. We have been in business for 30 years and are locally owned and operated out of Savannah, GA. We are a growing company with 5 stores. We are currently looking for qualified people to join our team.
Store hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am - 6:00pm and Saturdays from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. The stores are closed on Sundays and you will have one additional day in the middle of the week off (Tues, Wed, or Thurs and will be determined by the Store Manager). Starting pay will be based on qualifications and experience. Must be able and willing to work at any of our 3 Savannah locations if needed.
Daily Tasks and Responsibilities
Gather information on current and prospective customers (customer needs, budget and pricing plans)
Contact overdue customers to understand their requirements and work on an account plan.
Provide after-sales support to retain customers
Ensure prompt and accurate answers to customers' account queries
Build strong customer relationships, through regular communication
Report on the status of accounts
Suggest company products/services that maximize customer satisfaction
Communicate product and pricing details clearly
Coordinate with Senior Managers to create customized sales plans for key customers as needed
Promote new products/services to existing customers
Essential Skills and Abilities
Proven work experience in a customer based environment
Understanding of sales principles and ability to deliver an excellent customer experience
Strong (verbal and written) communication skills with an ability to build and maintain relationships
Effective presentation and negotiation skills
High degree of professionalism
Good time-management skills with a problem-solving attitude
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Valid Driver's License required. No DUI's or excessive tickets in last 5 years.
Company provided criminal background check required.

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
