Job Overview

A brilliant opportunity exists for an outstanding individual capable of fitting into this very rewarding Controls Technician role. Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company, is looking to hire someone who can bring added value to the team. If you're dedicated, energetic and detail-oriented, this could be the perfect role for you. Responsibilities include:


1) Ensure effective preventative maintenance plan and schedule for all facility equipment and systems

2) Diagnose materials handling equipment and automated picking system-related error conditions occurring in the distribution center and repairs appropriately

3) Oversee any maintenance, modifications and system upgrades of materials handling equipment and automated picking system controls

4) Assess the efficiency of materials handling equipment and automated picking systems and define necessary modifications

5) Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks to ensure continued productivity with warehouse operations

6) Maintain CMMS and EAM system on repairs required and perform on equipment in the distribution center

7) Manage the inventory of spare parts

8) Work extended hours, as needed in order to meet productivity goals

9) Perform other duties as assigned


Critical Requirements


1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field

2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

3) Recent experience in the pharmaceutical industry is strongly preferred

4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in maintenance

Compensation and Other Details


Base Salary: Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
