Compensation

Tech 1 - Pay: $33-35/hour ($68,640-$72,800 before OT)

Tech 2 - Pay: $39-41/hour ($81,120-$85,280 before OT)

Sign on Bonus: $2,000

What your day to day will look like

Executes an effective preventative maintenance plan and schedule for all facility equipment and systems.

Directly responsible for preventative maintenance to system and supporting modifications, and/or system upgrades of automated equipment and conveyor systems.

Assist in maintaining inventory of spare parts in a CMMS environment.

Assesses the efficiency of conveyor system and helps to identify potential modifications. Performs routine preventive maintenance tasks to ensure continued reliability of warehouse automated equipment.

Diagnose Automated Picking System-related error conditions occurring in the Distribution Center and repairs appropriately.

Some overtime may be required.

Qualifications

Strong technical and operational knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.

Strong aptitude for repair and maintenance activities.

Ability to read and interpret illustrated parts breakdown (IPB) diagrams, and electrical circuitry diagrams and drawings.

Strong mechanical aptitude to diagnose, trouble shoot and repair mechanical components, such as: bearings, rollers, gear boxes, belts, etc.

Ability to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues.

Issues may include the testing, replacement or repair electrical systems including three phase or single-phase electrical systems up to 480volts.

Ability to read electrical schematic, wiring diagrams, and PLC ladder logic is preferred. Working knowledge of computer systems, personal computers and computer software experience including MS office (Excel, Word, IM)

Technical knowledge and skills include the diagnosing of electrical control issues.

Ability to troubleshoot communication issues with devices connected to the Material Handling Equipment network or other networks.

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational skills; attention to detail.

Strong ability to troubleshoot. Strong work ethic.
