The Controller will oversee all accounting functions for the company and prepare financial statements.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting functions including AR/AP and financial preparation statements
• Conduct work in process (WIP) accounting functions
• Be a primary decision maker on AP and cash management
• Prepare both monthly and yearly financial reports
• Oversee job costing and general use of ERP
• Reporting to upper management on all financials
• Ensuring that checks in balances are in place and accurate
• Handle payroll for overhead staff and pay subcontractors
• Manage the AR and AP staff

Qualifications

• 7 years or more of experience in construction accounting and/or public accounting
• Must have experience with Work in Process accounting
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related required
• CPA preferred
