A day in the life of an Control Applications Engineer:
- Join the Sales team on calls to review opportunities
- Develop concepts that are feasible and achieve customer's desired results
- Generate estimates for labor and material and create a project timeline
- Produce concept illustrations for customer
- Participate in kick-off meetings with customer and internal team
- Research new materials and methods of development to enhance our offerings
- Provide process expertise to assure quality and on-time delivery

Minimum Requirements:
- Associate degree in engineering related field of study or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical concept design
- Proficient in Outlook/Microsoft Office products including Excel and MS Project
- Demonstrated ability to work on multiple jobs with tight deadlines
- Must hold valid driver's license with ability to drive to customer site
Preferred Requirements:
Bachelor level engineering degree from an accredited university
At least two years of experience with control systems in two or more of the following:
- Robots: Fanuc, ABB, Denso, UR, etc.
- Sensors: Photoelectric, Inductive, Capacitive, Magnetic, Laser, etc.
- Control Systems: PLC , HMI , VFDs , Servos, Networking
- Test Equipment: Cameras, 3D profiling, Torque, Strain gages, LVDT, etc.
- Safety Equipment: Light Curtains, Floor Scanners, Floor mats, Safety sensors, etc.
