JOB OVERVIEW:

The Content Strategist is responsible for developing unique content ideas for publication across online, digital and print platforms. Their duties include conducting market research to learn about current content trends and target audiences, participating in meetings with management and marketing communications department team members to identify business objectives and learn more about Cavco's product offerings - creating content to meet those objectives within a given time-frame.

The primary duties include creating and enforcing a plan for producing content, creating a schedule, resource planning and other duties as assigned.

• Working with editors, writers, graphic designers, digital marketing specialists, web developers, project managers and other team members to produce content
• Ghost-writing for Executives and other C-suite leadership - both internal and external communications
• Researching and staying up to date on the latest developments in terms of search engine optimization, content trends and consumer behavior
• Updating older content to meet new content standards
• Ensuring consistency across all content, from websites to social media channels and videos
• Maintaining a calendar of project deadlines and content launch dates
• Overseeing the development and launch of new content channels

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, public relations, advertising or a related field
• 2-5 years of content marketing or communications experience
• Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive
• Admin level experience creating posts in MS SharePoint
• Social Media Management: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Flickr, etc.
• Content Calendar experience
• Strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with teams and collaborate
• Time management and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks

PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience working in a fast-paced corporate and/or agency environment
• Corporate level Retail industry experience is a plus
