Seeking a Construction Safety Specialist for a specialty civil construction company located in Southeastern Wisconsin.

• Conduct safety incident investigations and complete associated reports
• Conduct safety plans for various activities including critical crane lifts, demolition, and fall protection
• Inspect jobsite to ensure compliance and promote hazard identification
• Conduct task specific safety training as needed
• Lead a weekly toolbox safety talk
• Evaluate daily job hazard analysis performed onsite and communicate trends to the workforce.
• Evaluate operational practices/equipment for safety compliance
• Perform all duties in accordance with Environmental, Health and Safety Guidelines
• Coordinate with customers & GC to ensure all safety requirements are adhered to onsite

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Occupational Safety and Health preferred
• Prior internship or work experience involving safety preferred
• Advanced knowledge and ability to research and facilitate the enforcement all federal, state, local, and company safety regulations required.
• Ability to recognize hazardous situations and collaboratively implement essential measures
• Proficient interpersonal, communication, computer, and organizational skills are necessary.
