Job Overview

Skillwork is currently seeking a Site Supervisor/Construction Project Supervisor in the commercial renovation space, to join our team! Find freedom and flexibility in your work, travel the country, and learn new skillsets working with new companies.

Required:
3+ years of supervising crews
5+ years in commercial remodeling
Proficient in reading and understanding Construction Plans, docs and spec sheets
In-depth understanding of construction operations and processes
Familiar with safety, health, and quality standards compliance

Preferred:
Any construction certifications

Primary Responsibilities:

Candidate will be responsible for overseeing crews of 3-5 and leading 10-15 subcontractors. They be renovating retail, office and financial spaces. Before we start the work, we would like SS to check all site remaining fixtures - toilets, doors, locks, etc. for proper operations. Address all "issues" at the beginning. Conduct Pre-Building Inspection with Building Inspector and Fire Marshal - we like to schedule these types of inspections to get familiar with local municipality inspectors and their requirements. It would be great if SS be able to schedule these inspections. - Notify CSH about potential delays or issues in real-time - we cannot stress this enough to our crews. With real-time reporting, we can utilize all necessary means to avert the crisis
