Job Overview

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Construction Manager will be the site lead for the Project. They will be the main point of contact for the site. The Site CM's responsibilities include but are not limited to Project Safety, Overall Quality, Run POD Meetings, contract management, verifying DN's, and overall Schedule for the project. The Site Manager will guide the site team to make sure all aspects of a successful project are being met.

• Work with site team to ensure that the site is clean and safety protocols are being followed

• Lead daily POD meeting to help line out Contractors on what the work plan for the day is

• Attend contractors JHA to make sure that hazards are being discussed onsite learn

• Work with Contractors to ensure that drawings and specifications are being followed on the project

• Review Project drawings and ensure that the contractor is following them

• Help Review SOW to make sure there are not gaps in the SOW from contractor to contractor

• Track Change orders and ensure that CMR Reports are being updated

• Ensure Superintendents and Project Coordinators are completing QA/QC checks

• Work with Superintendents to make sure drawings and specs are being followed

• Be part of the Benchmark process for the contractor the Supt is over and ensure it is documented on Unifier

• Work with engineering to make sure RFI's and Submittals are being approved

• Ensure that Superintendents and Project Coordinators are tracking deliveries

• Ensure that Safe Harbor processes are being followed

• Ensure that Tracking information is accurate and being uploaded to Power BI

• Understand the Project schedule and make sure the NEER scheduler is getting accurate information

• Ensure that all DN information is complete and valid

• Make sure that all contractors are working together and that there is communication between all groups

• Ensure SWPPP and Storm water regulations and procedures are being followed

• Understand contractor crew sizes and production rates

• Understand the project schedule and help keep it up to date

• Understand the different site contracts and that they are being followed

• Understand local rules and regulations that may apply to each project

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Engineering, Construction Management, professional career in construction with past experience in Industrial or power markets. Expereince in electrical and utilities is preferred.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Must have a valid driver license and an acceptable driving record.

• Relocation to project area is required with monthly travel home (if desired)

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

• Oracle Unifier

• Understanding of safety construction, commissioning, and testing systems.

• Good communication skills to deal with owners, subcontractors, and employees.

• Possess a solid understanding of tracking job progress, costing and formal reporting.
