Job Overview

Description:

Oversee and coordinate facility building/grounds construction, break/fix, and equipment replacement activities associated with Construction Management and other Infrastructure work groups within the entire OG&E Energy Corporation service area. Coordinate with in-house crews, outside contractors, and vendors to monitor and maintain quality workmanship, ensuring work is completed within the established scope, budget and schedule.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management combined with four (4) years experience in commercial or industrial facility design, construction and maintenance;

OR High School Diploma or GED Equivalent combined with ten (10) years experience in commercial or industrial facility design, construction and maintenance.

Valid state driver's license.

Experience coordinating and/or overseeing projects in facilities, engineering, construction and/or maintenance.

Experience reading and interpreting construction documents.

Ability to read and interpreting construction documents.

Ability to use a personal computer.

Knowledge of SAP.

Knowledge of computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) systems.

Ability to influence others to achieve objectives. Ability to get work accomplished through others without having direct management reporting relationship.

Knowledge of local, state and federal laws and regulations impacting facilities.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent planning, organizational, administrative and time

management skills.

Ability to provide data needed to develop metrics and reports for projects and department.

Internal customer focus, cost conscious, and a team player.
