Our client is a recognized general contractor / construction management company that focuses on multi-family developments. They provide services "in-house" as well as for other leading developers. They are seeking an on-site construction manager to assist with new and existing construction in Fairfield County, CT.

The Role:

Aid in plan review with professionals and trades
Create, manage, and track the approved Construction Schedule
Coordinate efforts across entire project between architects, designers, engineers, and subcontractors
Coordinate RFI's from design team professionals and trades
Coordinate and track product and system submittals from trades to professionals.
Manage all subcontractor trades and "in-house" labor.
Review individual trades Scopes of Work based on plans and specifications
Obtain All Permits required for construction
Work with Government agencies, and public utilities as required for installations and required inspections.
Review budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
Manage costs in order to meet budget
Issue weekly and monthly progress updates regarding schedule and any cost overruns.
Log daily work reports in Procore.
Coordinate bi-weekly construction meetings with all trades to maintain scope, schedule, and budget integrity.
Ensure work is done in compliance with all relevant building and safety codes

The Person:

OSHA 10, OSHA 30
Proficiency in Procore is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of multi-family construction industry experience preferred.
Minimum of 8-10 years of construction experience is preferred.
A degree in Construction Management, Design or Engineering a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills, exceptional attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to take initiative and responsibility for assigned tasks.
