Description: Client is seeking multiple Construction Inspectors. The primary duties of this position will include inspection and documentation of MDOT construction and/or demolition projects as well as mentoring and leading more junior-level inspectors. Summary of Duties and Responsibilities: • Daily inspection of contractor's operations on construction or demolition projects. • Verifying conformance with construction plans and other contract documents. • Generating detailed daily reports and other required documentation. • Overseeing maintaining traffic operations/traffic control devices. • Monitoring soil erosion and sedimentation control devices. • Assisting project management staff with identifying problems and developing viable solutions. They will give these employees a company truck to drive to and from job sites to, so clean driving record is needed.

MUST HAVES: • 3 plus years of MDOT or Local Agency road construction inspection experience • Proficient with Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, and Excel • Valid driver's license with good driving record BONUS: Degree (Civil, Construction, etc) Field Manager/FieldBook and/or ProjectWise software knowledge Completion of various MDOT construction and/or materials testing training/certification
