Makers Line is the largest Multifamily & Vertical building outfit in Utah. We are seeking for an Estimator Construction to work with our expanding projects and company growth.

CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATOR JOB SUMMARY

• Take point on the preparation and presentation of cost / budget information
• Maintain records of estimated and actual costs
• Comprehend plans and specifications for mix use, adaptive re-use, tenant improvements and major/complex projects
• Have the knowledge and understanding of unit costs and production rates
• Generate trade scopes and analyze subcontractor proposals for scope and price
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Prepare subcontractor invitation lists through building connected and ProCore
• Within the invitation, provide instructions to bidders, trade specific clarifications and comprehensive bid packages
• Obtain bids from vendors and subcontractors for specified materials, products and scopes of work, identifying qualified subcontractors
• Provide a complete project cost evaluation and recommend ways to reduce costs
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors and clients
• Organize an estimate package that clearly communicates project cost
• Prepare a project from first estimate all the way through subcontracts being formalized
• Identifies project risk and solutions while tracking project performance and projections
• Attend project site pre-bid meetings and site tours
