Our client in Birmingham, MI needs to hire a CONSTRUCTION COST ESTIMATOR help lead new, ground up construction projects for a privately held, growing firm.

SCOPE: Will be responsible to lead all Estimating work for multiple construction projects. Should be comfortable leading all costing efforts from pre-construction onward on Ground-Up, Steel Construction of Commercial projects.

DUTIES

• Work directly with construction and development teams on scope, timing, and details of new construction projects
• Cost out all aspects of commercial development
• Perform research on items as requested.
• Contact suppliers and sub contractors for bids as necessary
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• 5-7 years or more in Construction Cost Estimating
• Experience in Commercial and Retail Construction
• Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills.
• Strong work ethic with proven ability to manage multiple projects at once
• Experience in a Lead Estimator role
• Experience with Ground Up, Steel Construction projects
