Construction Audit Professionals identify Risk, Cost Overruns, Overpayments, Financial Irregularities, and Litigation Potential.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience performing Overhead Rate audits and reviewing labor rates
  • Construction Project life cycle knowledge/experience: planning and preconstruction; construction; and project closeout
  • Ability to identify project financial controls, policies/procedures and test for effectiveness
  • Experience with payment application and change order process. Establishing proper controls and procedures for a variety of key processes.
  • Knowledge of/experience with: Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) Audit, Prevailing wage Auditing, Plus/Plus Auditing.
  • Functional experience and knowledge in Construction/Capital Projects Accounting
  • Deep understanding of our client's business, financial, and technological processes
  • Ability to identify and communicate solutions to complex, time-critical or recurring business issues
  • Experience in cost savings and business performance improvement
  • Ability to create policy and procedures
  • Ability to effectively liaison between Accounting, Engineering, Contracts & Grants, and Capital Management Group
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • CPA, CCA, CIA, and CFE a PLUS
  • project management experience preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in the general area of internal audit with an emphasis on construction accounting and audit practices
  • Willingness and ability to travel
