Job Overview

Best Line Equipment is currently seeking Shop and Road Service Technicians to service the Pennsylvania Capital Region. All technicians will report to our Harrisburg, PA facility with Road Technicians providing mobile service to the entire Capital Region, extending as far as the Lancaster, York, Carlisle, and Hamburg areas. Road Technicians are supplied with cell phones, laptops, vehicles, fuel, and other items necessary to successfully performing off location.

Job Overview:

Troubleshoot, repair, service, inspect, and maintain all types of construction, landscape, heavy, aerial, industrial, agricultural, and fleet equipment.
Road technicians travel to job sites and customer locations to perform duties.
Some on-call responsibilities may apply.
Full time position with excellent benefits and competitive compensation. 40-50 hours per week and 1 Saturday a month.

Requirements:

At least two years experience in comparable markets. (Troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing automotive, truck, construction, industrial, or agricultural equipment.)
Must possess strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, computer skills, and strong electrical, mechanical abilities.
Beneficial experience would include DC electrical, hydraulic, combustion, and associated skill sets.
Ability to work with computers, schematics, repair manuals and warranty claims is an advantage.
A high school diploma or equivalent industry experience will qualify.
Starting pay rate dependent on experience and certifications.
