Description:

We are hiring a commissioning engineer for an integrator based in Louisville, KY. This engineer will make site visits to the control panel builder and quality check the controls for accuracy and functionality using the panel checklist prior to shipping to the project site. Will travel to customer site to commission parcel sorting and singulator equipment and complete level two checklist.

Will also troubleshoot and resolve issues during commissioning including minor PLC, GDU and HMI programming as required. Will submit daily reports to the team during commissioning including issues, concerns, troubleshooting efforts, and results. Will travel to customer site to conduct volume testing, standby support and acceptance testing on custom installed equipment and control systems and preload the PLC and GDU software so the integrator or installer can complete level one checklist. Will also support quality improvement initiatives.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 2+ years of relevant experience working in the field
• Understanding and basic proficiency in PLC, GDU and HMI programming
• Understanding and basic proficiency in AutoCAD
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
