JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Mechanical / HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) design and construction experience or facility maintenance and operation experience required
Strong knowledge of the design, construction, and commissioning processes.
Field experience strongly preferred
Ability to read construction drawings
Experience navigating various controls and Building Automation Systems (BAS)
Strong technical writing and communication skills
Knowledge and experience with Testing, Adjusting and Balance (TAB) is a plus.
Knowledge and experience with Equipment Startup is a plus.
DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Performing design review of Plans and Specifications
Reviewing submittals and shop drawings
Developing Commissioning Plans
Developing project specific test protocols including Pre-Functional Checklists (PFC), Functional Performance Tests (FPT), and Integrated Systems Tests (IST).
Onsite execution/witness of test protocols
Running commissioning meetings, capturing and delivering meeting minutes to the project team.
Managing the resolution of Commissioning Issues
Developing commissioning reports
Travel as needed. Vehicle transportation including valid driver's license and insurance required.
