Description:

The Commercial Lines Client Service Representative will objectively assess client's needs, Agency goals and the individual underwriting practices of insurance companies when placing coverage.

• CSR will take direction from commercial lines manager and agency principal regarding procedures, policies and guidelines.
• Provide superior service to our clients by promptly responding to their inquiries and addressing their individual needs for the products and services that our Agency provides.
• Underwrite individual risk, to ensure that they meet our Agency standards and those of the insurance companies we represent.
• Make individual policy placement decisions based on the needs of the customer, our Agency and the companies we represent.
• Manage all account transactions including but not limited to endorsements, binders, cancellations and correspondence.
• Review policies for accuracy and completeness.
• Timely follow-up on company and client suspense/diaries.
• Maintain accurate and complete client records on ImageRight, using the AMS 360 System to fully process transactions.
• Actively develop account sales for assigned clients by soliciting single policy customers for additional policy sales in a manner consistent with our Agency marketing efforts.

Requirements:

• Must have an apprentice, solicitor or agent license.
• Have a good understanding of the quoting/binding process with brokers and insurance carriers.
• Ability to complete commercial acord forms and Certificates of Insurance.
• Maintain up to date carrier/broker guidelines, keep abreast of changes within the insurance industry.
• Comprehend policy forms and endorsements.
• Promote professional relationships with clients, underwriters, and coworkers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High level of organizational ability and attention to detail.
