Encharter Insurance is an independent insurance agency based in Amherst, Massachusetts, with a second office in Lexington, Massachusetts. We are a large and expanding community agency offering our staff members the opportunity to grow. The Commercial Lines Account Rep will be required to work in our Amherst, MA office providing concierge service to small and medium-sized accounts, including annual renewals, cross-sell, up-sell, daily service needs, and developing strong relationships with Encharter customers and our insurance company partners. Encharter is a Plymouth Rock company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Quote and sell insurance to new and existing customers
Quote and rewrite policies as requested or recommended
Review coverages on existing accounts and recommend coverage changes when appropriate
Provide prompt, accurate, and courteous service at all times
Maintain product knowledge for all lines of business and products written
Education and Experience:
Massachusetts Property and Casualty Producer License
3-5 years of Commercial Lines middle market account management experience
Thorough knowledge of all Commercial Lines products, including servicing and placing Excess & Surplus lines business
Understanding of commercial insurance markets, products, and marketing practices
Excellent attention to detail and vigilant documentation of customer interactions
AMS360 experience preferred
Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks with varying time constraints
Works well with team members and participates in a collaborative environment
