Seeking an experienced Facilities Technician with commercial carpentry experience.

Starting Salary Range:

$60,000-$75,000

Key Activities:

Metal stud framing with drywall installation

Door Hardware Installation

Interior wall and ceiling demolition

Drop ceiling installation

Office furniture installation

Drywall finishing and painting preferred

Completes moderately complex service calls and work order requests, as assigned. Tasks may include, but are not limited to, installing keyboard trays, office furnishings repairs, key delivery, and hanging artwork. Maintains work order system records, as appropriate.

Completes miscellaneous ad-hoc tasks, as assigned. These include, but are not limited to, maintaining a key inventory; ordering materials and supplies and maintaining appropriate inventory and equipment records; organizing warehouse deliveries

Assists senior technicians in all phases of various facilities-related assignments including building renovation and maintenance projects; independently manages minor portions of projects by coordinating work with project lead.

Completion of all bank training including Safety Program.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

At least 1 year of relevant experience in a skilled craft or appropriate trade.

Vocational training in a skilled craft, carpentry experience or interior wall finishing experience, is preferred (equivalent military experience/training is acceptable).

Basic project management skills and the ability to manage small maintenance or construction projects of a non-critical magnitude.

Highly skilled ability to operate portable power tools (e.g., drills, saws, etc.), table saws, grinders, and non-powered hand tools.

Strong troubleshooting skills.

Strong understanding and ability to apply best construction means, methods, and practices.

Basic understanding of building life-safety requirements.

Ability to read and understand manufacturers'-warnings, labels, instructions, and Material Safety Data sheets (MSDS)

Strong ability to read and properly interpret floor plans and construction drawings.

Basic computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Office applications, internet applications and operating computers associated with assigned equipment or systems.

Strong attention to detail

Strong customer service skills, -oral communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to multitask and use time efficiently to meet project deadlines.

Ability to identify procedural improvements, make suggestions and assist in implementing changes.

Knowledge of Masonry, tile and metal materials preferred.

Must possess a willingness to expand skill set

Ability to work weekend shifts or Overtime depending upon project or assignment.
