Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for resolving delinquency on automobile loans, negotiating payment arrangements; skip tracing to locate customer or unit and reviewing accounts for repossession. This position is in a manual queue-based calling environment with substantial auto dialing. SA DSC Level 2's work in a structured team setting with shared goals.
What you will do:
Review open accounts for collection and skip trace efforts
Handle inbound/outbound collection calls in a professional manner
Collect customer payments in accordance with payment due dates
Strategize work queues according to company objectives
Skip trace to locate customer or unit • Identify opportunities for account recourse
Send all applicable statutory notices
Review accounts for repossession
Identify issues attributing to account delinquency and review with supervisor as needed
Review and monitor any assigned accounts and all applicable collection reports
Provide timely follow-up on payment arrangements
Follow and maintain policies and procedures in all aspects of the position
Perform other assignments and duties as directed by supervisor.
Skills/Qualifications
High School diploma, or general education degree (GED) required and College degree
2+ years in collections and skip tracking experience required (Auto Collections experience preferred)
Working knowledge of Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)
Computer Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Internet Explorer
Bilingual Preferred
PayRate: $18-$19 Hourly
