What You'll Do
Performs complex functions associated with the maintenance or repair of the manufacturing process including machines and equipment and to ensure maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness. Utilizes extensive knowledge of various CNC machines, equipment and manufacturing processes to perform duties that may include but are not limited to: performing electronic, electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning equipment or machinery used in the manufacturing process; dismantling, adjusting, repairing and assembling equipment and machinery according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings; conducting research from various sources and contacts to solve equipment problems; using tests and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts; rebuilding or modifying manufacturing equipment as required. May troubleshoot software as it pertains to test equipment or machinery as needed. May develop and train less experienced staff. May work independently and or supervise activities of less experienced staff as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
3+yrs of exp
Experience trouble shooting CNC Machines
Experience with preforming Preventive Maintenance
Demonstrates efficient problem-solving skills
High School Diploma or equivalent
Essential Requirements:
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Needs to occasionally twist, stoop, crouch, reach about shoulders and below knees
• Needs to occasionally lift 40-50 pounds
• Must be able to move around a manufacturing environment 80% of the time
