This stable and growing company, located in Indianapolis, IN, has served as a key player in the industry for nearly 60 years providing for the mining, food production plants, and manufacturing industries. Their 13 person and 20+ machine shop is dedicated to excellence with the latest, state of the art machinery being installed (and more machines to coming at the beginning of the year!).

In this role, you will be given the opportunity to work with a variety of sophisticated machinery including 3-5 axis mills, lathes with live tooling, and more.

Working hours are on a 1 st shift starting at 7 AM with some overtime. Benefits include PTO, medical reimbursement, and 401k.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate mill, lathe, and other machines as needed
• Perform 1st article inspection
• Troubleshoot problems with the machine or program

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience setting up and operating 3-5 axis mills and/or lathes with live tooling
• Knowledge of conversational programming at the machine
• Knowledge of measuring tools (calipers, indicators, and the like)
• Ability to read and understand drawings
• Strong desire to learn and grow with the company!
